Blick Typewriter Company

This amazing “Blick Typewriter Company” sign was revealed under the Pizza Hut signage during a renovation at the corner of West Nile Street and West George Street in Glasgow. It takes us back to a time before computers, in the late 1800s early 1900s. Blick typewriters were made in America, the Blickensderfer typewriter was invented by George Canfield Blickensderfer (1850–1917) and patented on August 4, 1891. Since the renovations, it is now a Go Sushi outlet.
