METAMORPHOSIS – DAVID BOWIE LYRIC STICKS

Metamorphosis – David Bowie lyric sticks contain lyrics from four of Bowie’s songs which defined his career; Fame, Heroes, Fashion and Were Are We Now. I found that all these songs in particular coincided with major directional changes in his life. During his career, Bowie was known to cut up his lyrics and words from pages in his diary and rearrange them to come up with new ideas and unlock his thinking process while writing lyrics. My concept was for fans to use these lyric sticks to create their own versions, just as Bowie did. In a sense, you are creating new work while keeping Bowie alive and metamorphosing again after death.
