CITY TYPE CULTURE

City Type Culture (CTC) is a zine which focuses on typography photographed around the city of Copenhagen during a three day trip in 2016. It also contains an interview with danish graphic designer Line Kjeldsen Jensen from Smoke & Mirrors. You can purchase the zine at Good Press in Glasgow.

The format was based on a passport, because the size is portable and fits in your pocket while travelling. All the photos were half toned and the book was printed in black and white to give the feel of a photocopied zine. I embossed the cover in a bronze foil, to create a premium collector feel, as I wanted the publication to be the beginning of a city series, which documents my interest in typographic signage around the world.
