A Life in Letter press – My first post as a blogger

Having seen the Alan Kitching exhibition “#ALifeinLetterpress” at the Lighthouse Gallery last month, this show was an amazing collection from Alan’s career. His woodblock and letterpress prints reminded me how much fun one can have with type. This experience made me want to focus my blogs on typography, from print to architecture in and around the city of Glasgow and beyond. I hope to discover more about the city’s history and its design origins through historical typography.
