Howard Street Glasgow

This amazing hand painted signage above 52 to 54 Howard Street is still visible after many years, you can almost see over the three different designs of typography from the past. Dating back to 1841 in the Glasgow Post Office directory says John Angus, a house, sign and ornamental painter, paper hanger and colourman, had his office here, as did a the merchant M L Benjamin& Co, now there’s a bit of history!
