C. Wright, Straw and Felt Hatter

On a recent trip to Edinburgh I found these signs, dating back to around the 1880s, according to the city directory of the time, which shows there were quite a few hat makers and shoe makers around the old town. The signs are on both sides of the doorway. On closer inspection, we can make out the former top floor tenant. C.Wright listed as a Straw and Felt, Hatter.
